Known as 'Art Rock,' the Umbrella Thieves forge a genre all their own. Featuring the incredibly unique and talented songwriting efforts of Chris Magnusen, the band uses dramatic melodies in combination with simple singer/songwriter themes in order to create a portrait. Lush harmonies, ambient tones and 'one hell of a singer,' the Umbrella Thieves are making waves everywhere they go. Their new album 'Sad Transplanted Landscape' is due out in stores January 2007.

The Umbrella Thieves play great venues in Southern California and will be on tour in 2007 in support of their record.
