Ulrich von Jemto
My name in Brendan. I am the single member of Ulrich von Jemto. I create music on my computer; however, I assure that everything I make is entirely original and I have a strong grasp on music theory and every instrument I use.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I am in a band called CSE with some friends, but we don't play all music that I enjoyed making. Not to mention how hard it is to get the electronic sound that I love.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
It's hard to play live when you've only got one person in the band that has to play three or four instruments.
Your musical influences
Blink 182 dominates my influences; but, for the music you will hear, the Postal Service is a closer match.
What equipment do you use?
I use an iMac G4 and Garageband to make most of my music, but some of it is recorded as well.
