Tyron Jackson has always been a leading member of his community. As a former Youth Leader, he recognizes the importance of positive role models in shaping a young person's life. In effect, he spent nearly six years with his local youth ministry as a youth director and volunteered periodically as a peer mentor at Irvine Valley College. Tyron Jackson (also known as T.J) talents have gone overlooked for too long. This boy was born singing and has pursued his passion relentlessly from a young age. Whether it's his singing, his dancing, or his impeccable charm, TJ knows how to entertain and has yet to dissatisfy an audience. He attributes much of his musical inspiration to some of the greatest soul and R&B musicians of our time, such as Tina Turner and Michael Jackson. "They are truly my musical mentors! What they did in the 60's-80's and still do now, is nothing short of amazing! I love their energy on and off stage and in their records."
His lyrical flava is the embrace and expression of his life, his loves, and his losses, which together create an incredible rhythm with a hip-hop beat. In his new album "Fashion," he has hooked up with longtime friend and producer Ben Kanselbuam of (Short Stack Productions), to help him launch his first single "Pretty Boy Part 1"" the song reflect the struggle up to T.J's debut. These songs along with his most recent dance singles "HOT" and the phenomenal "The New Me" are part of a new era in Pop & R&B that forces an artist to constantly redefine his music.
Because T.J's music is so hot and so different, club-goers can't wait for his album to drop. Already popular tracks in the L.A. and O.C. club scene, the highly anticipated "The People's Prince" the album will be released the start of 2007 to compliment this growing demand in the local music market. TyRon's got the moves, the lyrics, and the beats to keep his fans and new listeners wanting more. TyRon really is the next best thing to music! Don't pass him up!
Thank you for interest and we hope to hear from.Band/artist history
I first started singing professionally with the Christian band "Maximum Style" in 2001, we did moderately well but we broke up in 2003.
Due to our differences I went a whole year re-contructing myself into a better performer/singer. the start of 2004 marked a my comeback, I hooked up with longtime friend and producer Ben Kanselbuam (short stack productions) Shalom Bako, and Tiana Chambers to help me launch my first singles "Pretty Boy Prt 1" and "The New Me." As of now, i'm in the process of recording my first solo studio Album, due out in 2007,
I'll leave you with this..
"GET READY FOR ME!'Have you performed in front of an audience?I love to perform, the stage is my domain. It's like when I'm on stage I become someone else. I have had some great performance opportunities, I have been very fortunate...every performance/show is a special moment for me!
Your musical influences
MY CHURCH,(THE MAIN PLACE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, they're always pushing me to go the xtra mile, (i love you guys soo much) Ike and Tina Turner...they are truly my musical mentors! What they did in the 60's-70's and still do now, is nothing short of amazing! I love their energy on stage and on records. I am a big fan of oldies. I feel that the artists of that time, really sang from their heart. What equipment do you use?
I am working with some of music's hottest producers, they truly help me bring out my sound.Anything else?
I would like to take the time to thank everyone and anyone that have ever supported me through this process (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE). My dream is coming true and without your constant love and encouragement. I would have given up! Thank God For You! This is only the beginning! All comments (2)
