Two Violins
Two Violins performs throughout the San Diego area at private receptions, corporate functions, conventions, weddings and other events. The ensemble, performing together since 1999, consists of violinists Justin and Magdalena O'Neill, both of whom hold degrees in violin performance.
Two Violins performs a varied repertoire, ranging from traditional classical music, such as pieces by Bach, Haydn and Mozart, to Spanish dance music and other ethnic pieces. The duo also arranges and composes its own music and will arrange a variety of pieces for violin on request. Two Violins has recently added more world music to its repertoire. The library just keeps on growing.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We played Sarasate's Navarra for both our senior recitals. We dressed up in black and red and covered the stage in roses. That is a great piece to show off with. : )
