Band/artist history
Lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Brandon Herndon, formed Twilighter in 2001 as a recording project. Bassist Josh Sokal, and drummer Kaeri Johnson, both formerlly from the Chapel Hill band, Iris, came in to record some basic tracks.
Eventually, the trio started playing more songs together and decided to play out live. The band then sought out former SafeHouse lead vocalist, Sonar Strange, to sing back-up vocals and play Keyboards.
Shortly thereafter, the band went on a short tour of Louisiana, playing gigs in Shreveport and New Orleans. And so Twilighter was created.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We love playing live. Mostly we play around North Carolina - Chapel hill, Durham, Greensboro, etc..., but we love to hit the road too.
