twelve34
Twelve34, although previously under other incarnations, had their first gig under their current moniker in September 2003, and since then having been tearing a strip through the local scene. Big guitars, aviator sunglasses and leather jackets bring back the power of 70’s rock, and into a modern context.Band/artist history
Twelve34 is the story of four Canadian musicians who’s tracks paralleled and eventually met to collaborate and do what they do best. After many failed attempts at putting a band together, Eric St-Cyr and Jasen Colson recorded a 6 song EP during the summer of 2003, during the great north American power outage.
Soon after the EP was recorded, requests from fans and promoters began for them to play live. Realizing that the two of them needed a full band to perform, they recruited Jason St-Cyr and Chris Amos from Soul Harvest to play bass and percussion respectively.
Their first full length release, Stop Abusing yourself, has enjoyed international airplay as well as entering many top charts. Recorded early in 2004, this 18 track monster features rich harmonies and a raw, live feel. They are currently touring to promote their latest album, and are working on completing their follow up album, to be released late 2005.Have you performed in front of an audience? We play live as much as we can.
