tug Ether
Thank you for selecting tug Ether; we are a four-piece alternate rock band from Leeds, UK. We are influenced from a wide selection of music with each band member into completely different styles of music. From indie to rock to metal to funk. This equation doesn’t always work but we have managed to blend our styles and tastes together to form a completely original sound, from chunky guitar riffs to soft melodic beats, funky bass lines with plenty of slap and an extraordinary vocal range we boast a raw, crazy and unique sound to which -we think works in perfect harmony, delivering exciting results.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
tug Ether formed in about 2000 with two brothers Steve and Giles with a change of line up about two years later Paul and Matt joined to complete the band and fill in the inspirational gaps. We have not looked back since and continue to write material which is both provocative and addictive in nature. We all love our band and hope to continue working together until we feel we are being heard and appreciated.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We regularly gig around Yorkshire, mainly Leeds and Bradford at large venues but we also like the close atmosphere of a good old pub and never fail to grab the audiences attention and its always good to get feedback from locals.
