TUCA began with a found tape containing mysterious sounds...inspired by ghostly echoing from another time, Ben Edwards & Richard Martin spend the summer emulating these sounds (some heard, some imagined) with a guitar, a harpsichord, an electric piano, a bass, various percussion & household objects, and a tamboura drone simulator. (This between bouts of consuming cheap scotch and being consumed by the Pacific Ocean). They then called on folk singer Melody St Claire to add some dreamy vocals...Band/artist history
