tryti
I'm Ivar Tryti, and I make soundtrack-esque stuff.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The first time I played around with music programs was when I was 8 or 9. I started doing orchestral stuff when I was 16, and so far it's just a fun hobby. I hope I get somewhere with it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I don't. I can't play my own piano pieces yet, but I practice!
Your musical influences
What inspires me is completely random. Usually I'm inspired by books or films or games. Sometimes it might be something as small as a particular sound in a song or a smart reply to a sarcastic remark.
I listen mostly to soundtracks, especially music from video games. My favorite composer is Yoko Kanno, followed by Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobou Uematsu.
What equipment do you use?
I compose in FL Studio using EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, EWQL Symphonic Choir and a few other sample libraries and synths.
