TruTh of 61

Bringing a fresh breath to hip hop! Not your average group man....3 white kids straight from the burbs but bring a real original hip hop sound. Inspired by Virginia music, we only put out quality songs that deserve to be on albums even though we work on tracks all the time. Take the time and listen to some music that you can't compare as we keep it real and bring tracks that WHITE KIDS CAN ACTUALLY RELATE TO! Everyone loves hip hop but not everyone can relate to whats being said. Now you have a chance to feel what some down to earth cats are saying. Truth all day fools!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Been together since high school. Used to have another guy make beats and he moved so I did what I could to fill in. We're real good friends and have been doing it our way for 5 years now and our sound is coming together. Most of what im going to post is from our first album we put together which is getting older now. Only the best is yet to come from the Truth of 61
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nope, we're real shy about this. Looking the way we do and acting just like normal white kids should makes you a bit hesitant when jumping into something like rap.
Your musical influences
A new branch on the tree from the Virginia sound! Everyone here creates their own sound and I think we do the same. None of the beats sound the same so we think we hold down Virginia in our own way. Also gotta be Tribe called quest, Wu Tang, and anyone else who created their own noise. Dont forget its about stickin out not fittin in
What equipment do you use?
Micro Korg, Acid Pro, Reason, Abelton, Cubase, Midi controller and soon to be MPC 1000
Anything else?
Just want to drop a line and tell everyone who is looking at this to keep doing your thing. If you look like us and talk like us well rep us cause we rep you. My name is Trizz on the record and I make the beats and im the punch line rapper. My boy Delta-9 (look it up if you dont know what it means) is so lyrical you probably wont understand and my boy Trey Blaze, the backbone of the lyrics with the smoothest flow I've ever heard from a white dude!
