True Entertainment
True Entertainment is as hot as it gets. We thank all of you for helpin us to get to where we are and where we are about to go. We are always looking for new team members which may include anyone. Producers, Artist's, Management or even Booking Agents. We deffinately are not scared to work.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
True Entertainment has been a well known name in Fort Wayne Indiana's thriving hip hop community for years. From shows that continually have the largest turn out, to CD's that are way to valuable to release without the right production, Ian True continues to make wise decisions. Since a very young age the hip hop and rap community has had a great impact on all of our lives. In a neighborhood where your closest friends find the road to no-where over and over again, you quickly find something your good at and stick to it. As with all rappers we all started out freestyling over other peoples music. For Ian however this quickly progressed from day three of finding his ability to have a remarkable way with words he picked up a pen and headed straight for stardum. At that young age of 12 years old he decided he was a hit songwriter, and still stands firm to this day. The differance between a hit song and #1 on the billboard charts hit song is radio play, the right production, and a gang of money. Things are falling into place little by little, day by day and my advice to you is just sit back and wait for the rest of the story...
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We do shows live every Wednesday to try out the new shit on a live audience. Thanks mainly to Legends Bar & Grill. We also can"t forget about the other local venues that are helping to pave our way such as, Columbia Street West, Bottoms Up, Club Inc. and a special thankyou to pieres and Wild 96.3 for all of your love and support. We won't let you down.
Your musical influences
Labels such as Rocafella, and Ruff Ryders, are great inspirations for us. They were strong and stuck together to get where they are. There's a lot more to music than grabbing a mic or a keyboard. We appreciate the business behind it all.
What equipment do you use?
The junkest of junk digital preamp and condenser mic with some of those nice h20 programs and plugins. Never make money using wareized software! I have a four, four hour sessions lined up at sweetwater, I'm just waiting to make that move untill I find the right producer to push me.
Anything else?
Many thanks to everyone. The producers on this site are fucking great. Thanks especially to Apex Pro, Blown Up Records, Complexity Beats, Devize, DJ Empdee, Free Rap Beats, Hardkore Rap Beats, Hit Makers, Marinated Music, Rock It Productions, Tony D., Yessssurrrr, and all the rest of yall pushin us to be our best.
