Truant - real name Matt Corker.
Computer based music producer from UK.
Genres - dance, hiphop,ambient, rock, drum and bass, all with that little bit of electro sound.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I first named myself Rekroc but thats not a name that means much to anyone so I changed it to Truant. I think ill be sticking with this from now on.
I havent had much history, ive been making music in my home studio up to know just learning and improving my talents.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not at the moment Im still perfecting my live skills
Your musical influences
I love great sounding basslines and synths, differing from dance, to hip hop. I also love good drum and bass beats.
What equipment do you use?
I mainly use Steinberg Cubase sx on my P.C but if Im out from the studio I use Ableton live.
