This is the newest chapter in Sofla... TropyCo aka Trop embarks on his debut solo project. Featuring production from some of the industry's finest, this Album is sure to bring hip hop to a new playing field. Lets get it poppin....Band/artist history
TROPYCO is a Cuban/ Puerto Rican artist who with his group
SoFla Kingz sold over 50,000 mix tapes through the
streets of Miami out of the trunk of his car. Now
thats an accomplishment considering he did all this
without the help from any major label. This kind of
drive and talent has interested the likes of major
artist such as Pitbull, Rick Ross, Julio Voltio,
Franky Negron, Nina Sky, and Xreme to collaborate and
feature Tropyco on previous records.
With that said it is obvious that Trop is not your
average rapper. The dreadlocked emcee has been a
general of Miami's underground movement. His
creativity on tracks alone is more than worth the
listen, but it's his second to none flow and
unparalleled charisma that lures you in and makes you
a true fan to his music.
As one half of the super duo SoFla Kingz, Tropyco has
now embarked on his solo career, which will be showing
just how versatile he really is. The album shows off
his unique style as he mixes his two native tongues on
his debut project. The double disc album will feature
a Spanish disc and an English disc mixing elements of
hip-hop, Latin percussion sounds and even some rock n
roll feel good. The gifted story teller makes music
for the streets while painting a vivid picture with
his words touching on all subjects from relationships
to political issues, to his hardships in life and even
up tempo club music showing the success he's achieved.
Aside of his new solo album, Trop is also creating
jingles for HBO Latino and has currently sold over 20
commercials and soundtracks to numerous radio stations
and TV shows. You can expect more from him in the
future as this multi talented rapper will also be on
television acting and hosting his own music variety
show on a well known station to be seen nationwide.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've played everywhere around Miami, Broward, Palm Beach.
