A 5-Piece Band Coming From Talisay City, Cebu Philippines! *Applause*
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Started off in 2003, Vienetto La'fue and Roberto O'fout dedicated their lives to their music. Together with Irie-Ghetto Gong, Edd Martinez and later came Aikeeto Burrito , they formed Enterband. They released their very first debut album entitled "Haller!!!" in 2005 under an indie label with Stubborn Record Company. Irie-Ghetto Gong had to leave the band for some reasons and that's when they decided to change their name into "The Real Mcoy" and not fucking Mccoy! geeeshh! In 2006 they released an EP album entitled "Now It's Done" under the same independent label but never the less after their last record was done, Edd Martinez left the band with dignity and as a proud Mcoy. After all of that, Hot Ass Magazine's Josef Mangui joined the band together with Wrestling Sensation Erwin "The Rock" Batucan. Though the rhythmic tunes and varieties of TRM changed, it was the passion of La'fue and O'fout for their existence in the music industry that really paid off.
In 2007, TRM had to stop for awhile because Aikeeto Burrito was having a lot of conflicts that you guys don't want to know, it's just showbiz. He had to leave TRM eventually and has to be with is side-project band, Toysouljahs. Then a week after, Erwin Batucan was lost in the wilderness and was never been found but a month after the tragedy. He was already found and was already playing in Toysouljahs. After months in Hiatus, La'fue decided to restore the band's efforts and immediately halt the band's tranquility. He went to see an old friend Monique Rodriguez, an ex-guitarist from Toysouljahs. Rodriguez, was discharged from the band a month after the separation of Burrito from TRM. O'fout and Josef Mangui came back to be with Lafue and Rodriguez's future plans for TRM. All the way from New Jersey, along came Joshua Bascones. He is the drummer from a New Jersey Metal-Core band, Streets of May.
Now the band is working on their new songs and sound. They will come back soon in the scene with their new transition and hopefully in the airwaves. So do keep an update and still keep your undying support to the local independent bands around the city.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Our Christmas Party back in our senior year. It was the first appearance as a band and our music to be heard. Of course we like it, everything was awesome.
Your musical influences
For most of us it would be the "Foo Fighters" and a blend of "Hum", but we listen a lot of music trends. Each of us came in different roots in music that's why we have a lot of music to generalize in combustion.
