Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I've played music basically my whole life - many years of alto saxophone and guitar. I also taught myself a bit of drums, keyboard, bass.
The band I was in broke up earlier this year (2010) and I have only really just started writing again now. Hence the soundclick!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I would love to get back into playing live... any bands looking?
I have done many a gig in my day, and love being on stage.
Your musical influences
Periphery, Bulb, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, Story of the Year, The Ghost Inside, Rise Against, ADTR, Alterbridge, Karnivool, 36 Crazyfists... the list goes on and on.
What equipment do you use?
I'm a bit of a gear whore.
Guitar wise, my mains are a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, Paul Reed Smith Santana w/EMG 81+85 and a Schecter C7. I also have a few others lying around (a few acoustics and some project guitars).
Rig wise I use an ENGL Invader 150 and ENGL XXL Pro cabinet, along with a Roland GP-8 rackmount and various pedals (compressor, tubescreamer etc.)
For recording I have a very basic set up. Tones are via a Line 6 Pod XT Live, interface is a Lexicon Omega Studio Pro, reference is a set of Alesis Monitor One's and various headphones.
Anything else?
I am a special effects makeup artist in real life, that's pretty fun...
