Trio Tuerlings
Finally,
After 38 years there it is: the first legal release of the Trio Tuerlings! I remember the first time I saw them in '67 Obergurgl (Austria). At that time, they called themselves The Teebees. I was swept away by their insane performance and enormous hit potential. Playing 3 asynchronic tuned basses they were still searching for their definitive sound, but I decided to follow these harmonious brothers. After the tear jerking concert in Waterpreut, Belgium (1971), the death of "Mum" Tuerlings and the "swimmingpool incident" that same year, I lost track of them. Later I learned that Dave stayed behind in Bangladesh, Dennis shortly pursued a career as a charwoman, before starting his genetic experiments with cows and sheep and Donny started working as a model for the hairdressers academy. You can imagine how shocked I was meeting the boys again in a Dutch mental hospital. I was still practicing as a dentist at that time and working evening hours as a psychiatrist. After pulling some teeth and strings, I got them in the studio and the result is even better than I expected!

Trio Tuerlings plays live as much as possible! Some people say they're live better than on CD.
Our music has a sixties-feel. We have been compared with The Beatles, The Who, Q 65, Joe Jackson etc.
We like to throw in some animal-sounds, mainly cows and an occasional sheep.
In 2005 we released our album: Strange Fluffy Cows. It contains 15 Tuerlings-originals. On our website, www.triotuerlings.nl, you can find more information and music.
