From the heart of the midwest comes TRIBE!! Blending various influences from folk to rock to reggae,TRIBE plays "music with a message".Incorperating improvisational jams into and around the songs, each live show takes on a new form.The songs remain the same...its the experience thats different.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed in 1997 as a 3 piece,Tribe, grew in the art of improv.The addition of the keyboards as another voice expanded and filled out the sound.Developing thier sound out of the underground they emerged from the studio in October,2000,with thier first release,a 12 song CD titled "We the People"
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play out live as often as we are able to find places to play.Mostly in the Indianapolis-Bloomington-Southern IN-Louisville,KY,area
