I came from the metal scene of the early 90s so stuff like slayer, machine head, fear factory, pantera as well as industrial/noise like skinny puppy, throbbing gristle, pal, dive, converter, ms gentur, winterkalte, scrapedx, savak, punch inc, micropoint, dj nosferatu, waste, iszoloscope, sonar, sket, leechwoman, xotox, annenzaphalia, whitehouse, grey wolves, condom, haus arafna, raegus argentum, beastia centuri, Dark ambient amnd experimental music all have an influence as well as topical issues of mind control, oppressive governments, conspiracy theories etc etcWhat equipment do you use?
Pc laptop running logic 5.1 wavelab 4.0 soundforge 5.0, Ableton live 3.0 with external maudio firewire 1024 soundcard, an old oil drum beaten with drumsticks and processed with outboard FX (currently on loan)and an angle grinderAnything else?
