I recorded my first CD, Candlelight, in 2003 on a portable home studio. The production wasn't the greatest, but the songs are not bad and I still like and play many of them. A few years later I put together the songs for The Distance. The production on this one was much better I think. I used the computer software more than the portable studio and it sounds a little more "produced". Just a year later I threw together the tunes for Somnambulist. These are a collection of songs that sound more "traditional", and so the sound is stripped down and raw. I love those songs.
Just this summer I finished the 11 songs that make up Tracks. I started writing some of the songs from this album in the fall of 2007. "(Words That) Take Us Deeper" and "That's Just Me" are two examples. Quite a few go back as many as ten years, such as "(O.G.)" and "Live or Aspire".
Right now my goal is to get out and do some live playing. I also have a new project in the works that I call "Subterfuge". This will be a heavier assortment of tunes. No acoustic material at all. Just heavy guitars and riffs. Can't wait for that one to be done!
As always, thanks for listening!
