Trenchfoot: A metal band with an intense as fire live performance and a wicked powerful sound. The dedication and perserverance do what ever it takes to survive and succeed and to keep on moving. The rest shall speak for itself.

A five piece metal band from the Detroit area that was formed in the winter of 1999. At the time were writing songs as a four piece until our final addition was added in the summer of 2000. We quickly jumped into the scene and played our first live show in November that same year. After receiving a spirited response we continued to perform and compose new music. Our live show is known to be very intense and energetic giving any audience something to focus their eyes on as well as their ears. To this date we have played countless amounts of shows all over the Detroit and Toledo areas including St. Andrews Hall in Detroit and have been gaining a steady following and fan base. We also recorded our five song LP entitled First Assault in August of 2003, which will be released later the same year. Our website, www.trenchfoot.net, has counted over 30.000 hits and 100 plus registered members on our message board. We have also received many hits on mp3.com that have brought us greater notice and more exposure. Our mission is to gain respect and notice through our music, performance and personality and to take the next step whatever it may be.

Trenchfoot plays live quite often in the Detroit and surrounding areas. It is the best feeling in the world to perform and sweat and bleed on stage. We recently released our 5 song ep "First Assault" and had a great cd release party with great friends and many new faces.

Definatly influenced by Metal and Hard Rock. Some of the main influences include Chimaira, Hatebreed, Lamb of God. On the other side we are influenced by STP Phillo Betto and more.

Support local music because without it there would be no getting ready for the "big show" There are some great bands out there give them a shot.
