I'll listen to all types of music and put my ''spin'' on it . That's why my music has no genre .Band/artist history
Back in the early 70s my dad , out of the blue , had brought home an acoustic guitar . No one including my mom knew he could play guitar . Pops although a little rusty sat down and began to play some Mississippi / Texas Blues and totally blew me away . From then on I was hooked . He didn't actually teach me how to play but I spent hours watching him . One day he granted me the permission to bang around on it since I was so Intrigued . I think that was around 1973/74 . I had the chance to show him some of my progress back in the 90s and one of his compliments was '' Boy You Can Play That Thang ''.Have you performed in front of an audience?Back in 2006 I had the chance to play live and record it . The Arcadia Theater on lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas Texas . My band ''The David Wayne Band'' performed there in May of 06 . I recorded it with what I had at the time and the quality wasn't good . I'll post some of the songs on here.....stay tuned .

Too many to name here but for starters , Hendrix , Pastorius , Thomas Newman , Brian Blade to name a few .What equipment do you use?
Bass , Guitar , and what I can afford at the time . I say It Aint What You Got its How You Use It .Anything else?
Music is all around us , you just have to Listen .
