Well since it's just me...I'm Travis and I compose music...right now just for a hobby seeing as how I'm only Sixteen. But I love to do it, Expecially come up with ideas for film music. I also write some symphonic stuff sometimes, but mainly film type music. I also conduct the Junior Band at my High School.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes In a Band, I play the Trombone. I love it very much it is very exilerating to play a concert for an audience. Not any very special moments but The last concert we did was absolutley amazing the best we've ever been so that was pretty awesome.
Your musical influences
Well Since I love film music many of my influences are film composers, Such as Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, James Horner and Cliff Eidleman, they are all masters of their genre. But when it come to composing Symphonic type stuff, my influences are Antonio Vivaldi, Gustav Holst, Wolfgang Mozart, and Beethoven of course.
What equipment do you use?
Well nothing too fancy seeing as how I dont have alot of money...maybe I should get on that. But any way:
-Noteworthy Composer
-My old Roland Electronic Keyboard
-And my trusty Batons, 10 and a half inches, Very light for faster peices, and my other 14 and a half inches, For slower peices.
