transgress
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Transgress has a short but quite volcanic history.
The whole action takes place around the band's voice, Nina Tsaousidis, who basicly needed a bunch of musicians to promote her musical vision.
Quite a lot of musicians did their time with Transgress, the line up at the time being featuring Nina (Greek born in Germany)on vocals, Torsten on drums(Germany), Walter (Austria) on acoustic and electric guitars, Richard (France) on solo guitar and Octavian (Romania) on Bass guitar.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We will play live on 28th of february at Floz in berlin, and there's a long list of other Berlin clubs and events where we're gonna play this year.
Your musical influences
The list is too long , and ranging from one extreme to the other to give an ideea of our influences, but i will mention some artists we currently listen to : AC/DC, Metallica, Spock's Beard, Weather Report, Frank Zappa, Audioslave, System of a dawn, Heroes del Silencio, ...
What equipment do you use?
guitars, bass, drums, mics.
Anything else?
Transgress plays for the pure pleasure of making music. We all come from different countries, we speak different languages, we deal with each other in an interesting and funny way, we have quite a unique 'chemistry' as a band, and these all show in our music.
