Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Tibbs and I have collaborated once before to create the Breakfast rap. Going to High School together, we realized how we could share our ideas to form music. He had been creating raps for a while, and I was making beats since 2000. Now we bring it together. This is Transcendence to Sigma.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
After Tibbs developed the Breakfast rap in 2004, he performed it live with the band, The Retakes, playing John's beat. Fame shortly followed The Breakfast Rap.
Your musical influences
Our influences aren't limited to anything...except country. We work trip hop and Breakbeat. Hip hop is amazing because it encompasses everything...except country. Life influences music. Personality influences music. Just know that country doesn't influence any musician.
