Trails Da Rap Phenomenon
Trails: Houston's most anticipated, undispudeted underground rap champion.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ive been rappin for a long time. It started at a carshow when i was young, I saw a rapper by the name of South Park Mexican rapping and thats when I decided what I wanted to do. I started recording at a couple of garage studios around my side of town. After releasing two mixtapes with DJ Jesse James, I met a guy by the name of Hazardiz. From there, I started working with him, and at the same time, met J Duce and Phat Face Records. I began to record with Phat Face, but at the same time stayed in contac with Hazaridiz. After releasing another two mixtapes, I decided that i should break out of being featured in a group, so I decided to begin recording my own mixtape. Phat Face had introduced me to the concept of doing shows, and I took what I learned from them, and put it to work for myself. I released my solo mixtape under Money Hungry Ent., and with the help of my brother and Hazardiz, I had a nice buzz around my side of town. From there, i began to do carshows and clubs on my own. My second solo mixtape was also released under MHE. This one features, HTX/Shut Em Down Producer/Rapper, Filero, Rasheed of the Dope House, Kiotti, UNPRDCTBL and many more... I am currently working on my third solo mixtape called NO LOVE.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I love rappin infront of people's faces.
