Tragic Vitality
Tragic Vitality is a Chicago based rock band. We've been playing together for about 4 years now and are working on recording a full length CD.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I'm focusing on the future.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We've played lots of local venues, started out at Rubes In Harvey IL, then Mojoes in Orland Park IL VFW hall in Worth IL, a library and festival in Bartlett IL,and just about anywhere we could get a show. We've actually played at a place called Rafters in Johnson City TN which was nice, and the Scoreboard in Bridgeview IL along with Sin and Fashion Bomb.
Your musical influences
We all have similar taste in music. If I had to describe our music I'd have to say its a mix of everything bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Garbage, Placebo, Radiohead, Aphex Twin, The Smashing Pumpkins,Tool, A Perfect Circle and others just to name a few. Darker music.
What equipment do you use?
Our Keyboards are Rolands, Jp8000 synth & XP 60. Jon and I both have Randall half stacks. I play an Esp Ltd, and jon has a custom. Drums are whatever drums with whichever drummer.
