Story behind the song
"The first hints of this piece came to my mind while I was working on the song 'Just Another Cool Jam'. Sitting back during a quick Cup O' Noodles break, the main opening synthesizer lines popped into my head, and I jotted them down into a separate 'idea' file for later recall. However, I couldn't figure out exactly what to do with them...until I happened upon a beautiful piece of Bryce 5 artwork while surfing the web, a 3D creation by Lorenzo Ravasco entitled "Virtualità". Struck by this picture and it's title, as they seemed to embody everything I do musically, I contacted Lorenzo and asked for his permission to use it for the front cover artwork for my first album, as well as to use the name of his creation for the first album's title. He agreed! :) In return, among other things, I proceeded to write a piece of music for the album that captured the essence of this piece of art, using my previous musical idea as the basis from which to start, and "Virtualità" is the result. I really like the way this one turned out...it surpassed my own vision for it entirely. Many, many thanks goes out to Lorenzo Ravasco for providing the visual inspiration for this number...and thank God for Cup O' Noodles moments! :)" --- One With The Computer [[ LORENZO RAVASCO'S ARTWORK CAN BE FOUND AT HIS HOMEPAGE, "UNICORN'S UNIVERSE", AT: http://www.unicorn1972.com ]]
