Story behind the song
The song is about a girl alone looking out of her window at night
Lyrics
Starpath (words and music Ed Rhoades) From the farmers in Australia to the wildman on your block And the crazy stuff they mail you when your ship comes home to dock And she's looking for a Starpath in a clouded city sky Who knows what she sees behind those umber eyes She's alone again this evening burning thru the night like a star Burning thru the night like a star burning thru the night like a star Are you watching from afar maybe tonight you'll see the light I guess that I'm too hot or maybe you're too cold Your heart could have listened to what your senses should have told And she's looking for a Starpath in a clouded city sky Who knows what she sees behind those umber eyes She's alone again this evening burning thru the night like a star Burning thru the night like a star burning thru the night like a star Are you watching from afar maybe tonight you'll see the light copyright 2003 Ed Rhoades
