Hell to pay
Dark Pink Floyd-Inspired Rock Song | Hell to pay by Lemming Scream | Free Download
Lemming Scream is an expression of an inner monologue between Me, Myself and I.
Lemming Scream is a studio recording project originally formed in 2002 after the break-up of an original band named Fat Satchel. The songs written and performed with that band provided the inspiration behind Lemming Scream and the eventual completion of the prototypical "Waiting for the Echoes" CD in 2009. A collection of acoustic-versions of several songs written for that CD was completed in 2010 and initial demos for the as-yet-untitled follow-up CD were recorded.

The new CD proposes something of a departure from Lemmy's cynical, jaded perspective of the subject matter in Waiting for the Echoes as well as a slightly more modern approach to song production & arrangements.

Story behind the song
When there is nothing left to lose in life and the only choices left are dying or fighting....well, dying's been done before...
Lyrics
What's your name?
Wrapped up too tight
Thin line, my life is hanging by a thread
But I'm still swinging
Don't start no sh**
Give me your lip, lets turn it around
Maybe then you'll start seeing
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
Tell me your name
Tell me your name
Cause I got your number
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
Spend all my time
Denied, whats the use its over I guess
How could I forget?
Read my last rites
This time I got nothing left to lose
So lets start the bleeding
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
Tell me your name
Tell me your name
Cause I got your number
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
[Solo]
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
Wrapped up too tight
Thin line, my life is hanging by a thread
But I'm still swinging
Read my last rites
This time I got nothing left to lose
So lets start the bleeding
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
Tell me your name
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
Tell me your name
There's gonna be hell to pay, gonna be hell to pay
Cause I got your number
There's gonna be hell to pay
