"What You Hear (collab with Mr. Kettery)"
Kevroc – Instrumental Rock Artist
Instrumental Rock Song | "What You Hear (collab with Mr. Kettery)" by Kevroc | Free Download
Fall 2008 - I'm just getting started here on Soundclick and finding my way around. Thank you all for helping me get started here. This a great place to "park" my music, while I flesh out some ideas.
Today most people think music is just "background noise", but I feel it is something should be listened to "in the moment" with attention to every detail. When I listen, I try to hear and what the artist/performer is trying to say with their music.
I'm impressed with the great musicians and friendly, supportive people. Completely inspired and humbled by the talent which seems to be in good supply in Soundclick.
So, take a listen to my music, drop me a line when you have time and let me know what you think, I'd love to hear from you!
Be Well!
Kevin

Another great rock piece here!!Hey Kev :) this has everything I like in a power rocker!
great work by both of you, excellent mix, top to thumpin' bottomExellent song, Kev, you are a great player, beautiful done piece!!! JiriNice job Kevin,
it reminds me (here and there) some of Fripp guitar works in the 80' with A.Summers.
Congratulations, keep on rocking KevTerrific playing, tone, phrasing and
production! Lots of swagger going on
with this one. Nice work. :)Fabulous song. Quite driving .Hi Kev,
Really sorry I'm late on this!
Whoah...this is Great...As usual your Guitar is Awesome Kev...but with the Added Bass of Mr Kettery...Totally magnificent!
At 1st...I thought yeah...cool Guitar FX...but after a 2nd listen...I realise that is technique as well as FX!
Probably the best instrumental I have heard this year!
Trace. xNot much I can say that hasn't been said. Crystal clear production, perfect pitch, tone and timing. I hear so many progressive rock influences. Zep, Yes, ELP etc. This puts the P in progressive. Amazing stuff Kevin!!! :)
Give me more stars SC!Love the slow and easy start then the kick into a speedy beat. Very nice piece Kev.
jeni xCompletely awesome and well produced. Everything comes at you totally out of nowhere. Great progressive rock.Great song!....wonderfull work.....Those Danelectro sitar sounds are way cool!!!............Congratulations...
Once again the guitar tone is magnificentSCARY intro!
Groovy crisp-sounding guitar work all round, nice to hear a prominent bass, an often overlooked instrument, ha,ha!
The production is once again very well planned, a whipalong tune and great solo licks.
Excellent for dancing to (I imagine, ha,ha!).
Surely a film score in the making, is that the project?
Well done the pair of ya,
PeteNot bad bro'! It's all fun and games until someone gets an eye poked out!
I'm looking forward to the next project! This is really cool.Great playing.Lots of energy!
Positive sounding. :)
I have to add it to my station.
Excellent work!!Kev, this is just outstanding work!
Flawless in each conern.
The composition is pretty much ART ROCK in the best sense of the work.
Not the 3chord 4 to the floor thing but rather sophisticated, still very organic.
Wonderful guitar work, top notch solo! Didn´t expect anything less from you.....
But here the ensemble really is focus!
Mixing and mastering just perfect!
Like the sitar-like intro-outro a lot, same the rhythmic synth.
A 100% WOW!
Andreasthis was a unique piece in that, while it contains elements of your trademark sound, it is a bit of a departure from the tunes that you and Barry are both noted for. i am always intrigued by tunes where artists step outside their comfort zones... to explore new territory!
a very fine collaboration, my friend!:):):):):)

cinco estrelasSuperb production my friend - I love the creamy guitar tones and the wicked bass lines especially - Sitar tones are a lovely touch - I just love the indian sounds!!!!!Great playing here Kev, inclusive the bass!
How'd i miss this one? Extremely cool stuff Kev! Man that bass line...driving and relentless. Your guitars soar and the whole piece is so perfect for a movie soundtrack. Gonna add this to my Pinewind station...as it is truly a great instrumental voyage. Gotta ask...the sitar...real? a Rogue? or was it a sample and keyboarded in? I just love that sound and have wished i had it so many times.
