I've played with, among others, woody shaw, jon hendricks, julian priester and mike nock.. I'm no longer a classic cover tune or mainstream jazz artist, rather a jazz musician who believes in world music as trane did.. seeking to blend many genres into a fresh and innovative style of jazz..

Amazing song, Joe! Honest to say I love this song more than others of yours since I perceive this kind of music as a very close to me and I simply get a great pleasure while listening to it (I already have "The Duke of Paddington Blues" in one of my stations and periodically listen to it). This slow and at the same time very swinging groove is very tasty - it seems it's impossible to stay out of this. Also I find your guitar both sensual and very authentic in its manner. I may add that there is some irony in your vocal intonations which add some intrigue to the song... ))

What's the tempo on this one Joey? Dang, you're smooth at the slow toons! A tough feat! I like the prominent beat on the bass - excellent riffs throughout. Well done El Duke ;^))

Talk about cool git-tars. Love the pix. Rapster…I’m continuing impressed with your musical originality and versatility. Cool laid back groove, sultry bluesy vocals and (as always) excellent guitar work. Love tho’s unique blues riffs. I’m thinking about procuring a cat now.
