Evan Paul is a very unique artist. His music is totally original, multi-genre, mostly acoustic, new age, easy listening, uplifting and spiritual.
I'm a Canadian songwriter musician and have recently released my first CD, "Spirits in the Sky". It's an instrumental, classical guitar album with sweeteners such as flute and strings. After decades of performing in various bands and as solo, I have finally settled on recording and writing, and only playing live ocasionally. Result, is a sweet, easy listening and spiritually uplifting work that defies any genre placement. It's pure acoustic and very melodic. Also, one will notice vocal songs and collaborations with various world artists.
Presently, my latest CD "Eklektika" is active. It's one of the most original multi-genre instrumental album ever created. Unlike my previous, "Spirits in the Sky" collection, this one has percussion, a little more punch, but still retains that Evan Paul style of classical guitar playing. Enjoy!!!
"Ripples" by Evan Paul is a Smooth Jazz production available on SoundClick. The sound is shaped by classical guitars, giving the song its signature feel. No vocals are used in this instrumental beat. Written in G maj, the track draws on the key's naturally uplifting and expansive qualities.

I love the metaphorical element to this song. Ripples of water are indeed a reflection of everyone's life. Beautifully composed piece of music that captures the image perfectly.

Very hypnotic. Excellent Guitar playing.
My goodness, you must be a perfectionist with everything you do. If everyone were like you...there would be no hatred, no war, no deception. There is much to be said about the melodies and chord progressions, that a musician composes, and plays from the heart..

man Evan you play so well...just loved the tone of your guitar and those sweet runs. The strings are really subtle and tastfully done. I liked the bass lines and the arrangement is really creative with all those stops.
As usual, your production is flawless. Ripples is a beauty!

what a sweet catchy melody. I hummed along, imagining where to fit flute phrasings in. No room, your guitar says it all. but I excitedly waited for the catchy melodic phrase at the top of thr tune...(rest, 2,3, rest) Excellent musicianship.
Flavorful...Calming, yet Robust, latteta

Love your skillfull playing on this beautiful song. The 12 string guitar made a full sound. Also, love the string sound coming in and out in the background. The chord progressions are nice! Perfect title for this song. I love the way your music really sounds like ripples thru the water. You know I love the water. Like the ending too~ Great job, sweetie.

Excellent performance. My dad is a guitar player and it is always refreshing to listen to other guitarists that remind me of him.
