My band is me! I have recieved some help along the way. Thanks to Bayley Irene, Dolly Hallenbeck, Bill Walsh, and THE NOYZ BOYZ from Illinois. They are a KILLER R&R band in the Elgin area. Greg Wendorf, Joel Schmidt, and Paul Knuth. Nobody plays it like them.....except "THE EDISONS". Tampa Bays absolute best R&R band. Jay Dyall is another killer composer. Listen to Jay when you have a minute or 60! River of Life WAS an unfinished collaboration started in 1971 ( ish ). The lyrics were started By Dolly Hallenbeck and the music by myself. So 38 years later we are going to finish it. Bill Walsh added some great guitar work. Dolly and Bill both have sites on SClick. Story behind the song
A beautiful person needed a song. I loved you like a sister, and you went away. I miss you to this day, Barry... Keri and I lost touch about 1977 and were reaquainted circa 2004. It was great to get in touch with an old friend. She was having marital trouble and shortly after we re-met her husband called her in Texas, from Nebraska, and said I am divorcing you and people will be over to look at the house next week. FIX IT UP!!! So I wrote her a love song. Six months later she married an on line guy and told me she coud no longer be friends with me. I Feel used and abused. I gave this girl (when I met her) my friendship and was cast aside when "the new guy" showed up. I have less bitter memories of JR. high school. And I am sorry it happened this way. There is a hole in my heart!
