Story behind the song
I wrote a poem about the confusing messages we get about how we value life and yet we have wars, the death penalty, people on breathing machines and inocent people dying in the wars and on our streets.
Lyrics
V1 The populace is heating up about to burst at the end of its glass, Fewer young supporting old as they age in mass. V2 A product of devastation caused by a war to end all wars, Conceived by survivors of death that mounted by the scores. V3 Lovers are reunited in the aftermath of that event, No controlling the miracle just replenish what was spent Chorus Sucking and poking the human race, contraception is deployed, freedom of choice after the fact, what was young is now void; what was young is now void. V4 Fighting to keep people alive, hopeless cases on life support, With our unborn the legal choice to abort. V5 Criminals housed in block and bars, no attempt to habilitate, Their locked away from society to forget gas hang and hate, forget gas hang and hate.
