I began my love with making music by creating cut-ups of music and vocal snippets recorded on audio tape. My musical tastes at that time were hip-hop and the soundtracks to the Commodore 64 computer games I was playing and trading. Later I progressed to the guitar spending years recording with friends or in bands onto 4-track cassettes. As soon as I got my first PC I began to realise the music I could hear in my head using audio and midi. Since then I have been in several bands but always kept up what I call "my stuff". The styles of music I write and produce are eclectic, often taking inspiration for the genre of music I am listening to at the time. I use any sound which seems suitable for my needs, I play guitar, bass, keyboards and sing.

I recently rediscovered my own track! It's only after the distance created by not listening to the music that one has written that one can truly enjoy it. This track is actually very interesting and structured in a very different way to anything else I wrote for the "Stop Being Clever" album.
