For the approaching-30-and-up crowd who still want an edge to their deep thought rock.

Widetrack was founded in 2005 by Ron Tippin, a multi-faceted musician/producer from Michigan, USA. The band’s sound has been described as “Something Pink Floyd might sound like if they were a current hard rock band...” By combining inspired musicianship, to-the-point songwriting, and a cinematic edge that displays a depth rarely found in a band that rocks so hard, the music of Widetrack fills a glaring void in the current music climate.

Buzz on the group has been tremendous since performing at the 2007 Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans. Given the chance to perform alongside such artists as Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine, Porcupine Tree, The Black Crowes and many more, the band seized a pivotal moment and won over their biggest, most diverse crowd to date.

Lyrics
fatally flawed by your own father seeking his warmth through every john finding rebirth here where you always are waiting to die alone fighting your one defense singing a siren’s song to the world memories of innocence stolen crawl in your blood breaking you down blaming yourself wondering what went wrong waiting to die alone fighting your one defense singing a siren’s song taking your own revenge waking denials up to the ways of your world (lead section) this world is no substitute for the one your soul spirals down toward but no one can solve the pain that you’ve known purging your sins in the red water feeling your wrists opening up finally now maybe you’re going home waiting to die alone fighting your one defense singing a siren’s song taking your own revenge saying goodbye to it all sighing your dying breath waking denials up to the ways of your world
