I am a songwriter. Whenever I am strongly moved I get a song. They come lyric and melody, a verse or chorus with imagined instrumentation I can never quite reproduce.

I used to bring my songs to the band, start singing with my clumsy guitar or keyboard playing outlines and the band would fill in the colors, bringing the song to life.

Corporatism is driving us in the wrong direction. It's time to clean up our act while we still have a world. If the marketplace drives the direction we have to vote with our money. Only buy what you believe in.

but everyone can exercise their vote every day
by watchin' what theyre buyin' and where they spend their pay
check on corporate behavior before you give them youre money
