The experimental semi-acoustic wing of guitar-based vocal harmony and instrumental trio, Bright Spark

UnSparkPlugged is the writing, preview and demo wing of the band Bright Spark.

We have lots of new songs at various stages of development, and they appear here designated as follows:

"Skim" means just a flavour of the song, not necessarily complete or coherent or in the right order.

"Outline" is similar but should give the structure too.

"Preview" is a bit more complete, often with a bass, harmonies and extra guitar tracks.

"Demo" is pretty much how the finished version will sound, often recorded by the full band with drums etc., but needs proper mixing and mastering.

"Current" is mixed but needs further mastering, etc.

"Final" well, are they ever final? but usually this is the released CD version and is ready for the Bright Spark page.

Story behind the song
He got knocked down, but now he's rebuilt, and he's better! Photo by Justin Burgess (Grey Panda Photography) Heather's guitar instrumental is temporary, this is what happens when a real guitarist (i.e. John) isn't looking.
Lyrics
I'm not the man you knew yesterday. Something has happened. Things can never be the same. I must go, go far, far away. Parting is painful, but I can't stay in your arms another day London is dirty. I'm headed for the coast. Some people might say I'm running from my ghosts. But you and I know life has got too hard. This moment seems strange, but it was always on the cards, and your heart seems so far away… What do they know? They think they know everything! What does it show? Is ignorance really bliss? We exit the stage on opposite sides. Our time together was a bumpy ride, full of emotion, but it's hidden so well. I won't admit if you made my life a living hell… It's not polite to tell! What do they know? They think they know everything! What does it show? Is ignorance really bliss? I'm not the man you knew yesterday.
