Story behind the song

Dave Firestine challenged everyone to write Purse Holder polkas for the Carp Camp.  We made our attempt on a lazy afternoon in the Pecan Grove at Winfield 2006.  The result was neither a polka nor a reel.  We thought about fixing it, but we really like Field Assignment’s energy and we couldn’t scrap the tune since we enjoyed playing this one so much, especially that little G dip at the end.  Works well for a square dance.
