B.T.L. (short for "Black Thug Legends") is a rap group, which consists of Petey, Wayne, Eazy, and Baby Trapa. The group's main musical styling is based around Southern and East coast rap. All grew up on the Southside of Winston-Salem, NC, in the projects called "Happy Hill Gardens." The group originally had three members; Baby Trapa rejoined the group after he was released from jailed. This particular lineup resulted in a series of popular compilations: "Raw Heat Productions: Twenty O Three" being one of them. Before the group had a chance to record its debut album for Raw Heat Productions in 2004, the group was dropped from DJ Payday Label Raw Heat Productions. January of 2006, B.T.L. released its debut album called Project Livin, and Murda Mix in June of 2006. Releasing hits such as Gettin Money (remix), Shorty Tryin Ride, Girl Girl, and What U Wanna Do.
