Forme began in summer 2002 as an acoustic project between guitarist Tom Daigle and guitarist Andy Kerr. Working on original, progressive material, it was quickly decided that a full lineup would be needed to fully express what they had in mind. In January 2003, bassist Tony Zavaglia joined the project. As a trio, Forme rehearsed for a year and a half, writing and perfecting new material. May 2004 saw the addition of drummer Noah Hassan, thus completing the four piece. Forme played its first show in February 2006 to a sold out crowd, along side Stryxvirii and Violent Marv. Forme's first recording, Flux was released in May 2006. Forme is currently in the process of booking shows and preparing to return to the studio. Forme strives to lead the listener through an instrumental experience, ranging from slowly emerging atmospheric changes to melodic progressions, conveying emotions for any listener to interpret as their own.
