Aaroh were thhe winners of Pepsi Bettal Of The Band . AaroH sounded more likes fusion with rags with rock. The band's main thought was that to bring new sound. The band members first got together in 1998 and worked on a few songs. However, they were worried about the name of band, so Kamran and Nabeel met Shoaib Mansoor who was in Karachi at that time to ask him for a name. Shoaib Mansoor [SHOMAN] suggested this name and since then the band has been on the rise. Their live act is very strong and the fact became known to them when they did a few concerts all across Pakistan. People loved their music.
Now after the name dispute Nabeel Nihal "lead/rhythm guitaris, composer" and Kamran Khan "keyboard" decided to give the Name AAROH to Farooq Ahmed "vocalist" and Khalid "bassist".
