I`m a solo artist and I sing and just recently began rapping. My music influences are Mariah Carey, Whitney, Toni, and Christina Milian just to give you a clue

Im actually a solo singer, and I go by Krys. My real name is Krystle but Krys is my nick name as well as my stage name. Nothing too crazy. Just somethin to put out there so everyone knows me. I write MOST of my own songs, and I sing and rap, so Im kinda multi-talented. I have only been rapping for about a year... but i just got serious about it. I wanted to have more than just one talent so ive been workin at it for a while and im pretty good. Singing... ive been doing it forever so thats no problem wit me and its my dream. youre guarenteed to see my name in lights some day soon. And no im not COCKY... i just believe in me.

Story behind the song

A lot of people in my life [ even people that im close to ] have told me that i can`t make it.  But i know in my heart and soul that I can.  And because I`m mixed, and i have so many different ethnicities and because I don`t sound like i`m from Kew York or Jersey or sumthin, people think I can`t rap.  Well this is my first rap song... and it`s not that bad and i believe that I can make it.  And really... thats all that counts.
