Welcome, there isn't much to say that would make you understand what I do better than just letting you know who I am, which is Jay. I'm the kind of guy who would rather stay inside and write then go outside and play, forever. I'm the kind of guy who falls in love with almost everything, finds it hard to capture it all in a song so has to keep on going. I may be wrong but for me, a good songwriter can't be one that sits back and smells the coffee and relaxes, a real songwriter is basically (in a nice way) tormented by creation, and that is me.

Story behind the song
I was on the road, in Windsor...I missed my friend so I wrote her this song.
The funny story is we were staying in a hotel and everyone else wanted to sleep. I didn't want to so I hid in the bathroom with my guitar, sat in the tub and wrote this song. (Strange, this is actually the 2nd time this has happened...tubs are a great place to be creative I guess?)
It was a good night, though my back hurt a bit after that. A song about being away from someone, realizing how much of an addict you are to that person, hopefully everyone can relate.
