Isole started its days as Forlorn in 1990. The aim was already from the start to play epic doom metal inspired by bands like Candlemass and Bathory (their epic era). In 2003 the name was changed to Isole to avoid confusion since there was several other "Forlorns" around the world, many of them playing metal. In 2005 the debut album "Forevermore" was released through Swedish label I HATE RECORDS. In march 2006 a 7"-single entitled "The beyond" was released. July 2006 saw the release of the second full-length "Throne of Void". The third album "Bliss of Solitude" will become reality early 2008 and will be the first album we release through Napalm Records.
