Doug Logan heard Kathy's song "Telltale Lines" and said that he could play an accompaniment to it. He dreamed one up in about a minute. It was perfect so the two lovebirds have been collaborating ever since. Doug is a guitarist first and foremost. His expertise is apparent and his touches are tasteful and beautiful. The woven combination of sounds is enchanting. On the side, Doug also plays lead guitar for Time to Confess and the Red Hot Rhythm Devils, San Francisco’s hottest blues bands.

Story behind the song

Kristy Justice...what a name!  She used to work with me, and I was inspired one afternoon, in a meeting, to write a song with that name as the title.  I love what Rocky does on the sax with this song.  And Doug added his guitar and vocals last.  He's so cool.  Reid keeps the beat and I remember us all being extremely tired that day recording after a show.  This was the last song and the last take we did.  Turned out pretty good, huh?
