When I decided to do a new Grinderswitch album it had been over 25 years since one was recorded. Now 5 years later I am pleased to say it is done. It has been a very trying time in my life but by the grace of God I was able to finish it on a level that would make all my brothers from the past pleased that the original feeling of the band was still being presented. "The Ghost Train From Georgia" is a mix of all the music we grew up with. From The Ventures to Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Carla Thomas to Hank Williams. You can hear a little taste of all of it in this album. In this day of fast food music and cookie cutter singers. I know that there are still people who just want good honest music. I hope this CD helps fill some of the void.

With the new album Ghost Train From Georgia, the band Grinderswitch is planning on some tour dates soon. You can pick up a copy of the new cd at a store near you or order it from the bands website at http://www.grinderswitch.com
