Story behind the song
This song was originally just a track when I was kinda pissed about a situation with an ex, but I decided to write the lyrics later and it came out okay. I was going to send it to the chick it was about, but I decided it was better to leave it alone. If anybody else wants to let her know there's a song about her, her email is darksoul314@yahoo.com and tell her she's a hypocrite, don't play with the Hood Shit, this ain't no sightseeing tour, it's real. Our love don't die, just the niggaz around us. Other than that, I think it's straight... -TangoMega
Lyrics
I couldn't let another tear roll up out of my eye/ Had to bottle up the pain in the lows and the highs/ Let the piano tell the story of the hurt and the lies/ Ain't no way I could have known what I now realize/ Little older, little wiser, I was missing the point/ Cuz my feeling had me twisted like the end of a joint/ That phrase is so ironic since I'm out like the trash/ Cuz you lit it, then you hit it, now I'm left with the ash/ And it's my fault, I state it as a natural fact/ Cuz I'm the motherf*cking idiot for taking you back/ You were claiming dog love, but you couldn't comprehend/ You left a hole in my soul, but I'm back on the mend/ And I ain't try'n to play the victim, nah, but neither should you/ Alotta people saw the sh*t that I was putting you throgh/ But I worked to make amends, but you'd only tell your friends about events of the past, kept me looking like and ass/ You had more stones than Jagger in your House of Glass/ And when you kcufed up, babygirl, I gave you a pass/ You took and eye for an eye and left both of us blind/ And I was out of my motherf*ckin' mind/ I was ignoring the signs of the decline and you were wasting my time/ You had a nigga playing roles you would never define/ It's like fix, fix, fix, fix, fix, fix, fix.../ Man, f*ck this sh*t, cuz, I'm outta this bitch.../My word was my bond, God knows I was true, but instead of fixing me, man, we shoulda fixed you/ Cuz everytime I made a change, things stayed the same/ There's a tunnel, there's a light, but it's always a train/ There's the tears, there's a promise, but it's always the Game/ It's a shame, you so proficient at assigning the blame/ So I'ma take it on the chin, girl forget it, you win.../ And by the way? I don't ever want to see you again, peace....
