Story behind the song

This song was written because a close friend of mine, Larry Wessels of Christian Debate cable access show here in Austin Tx. Told me tht i needed to start putting the name "Jesus Christ" in my songs. I thought to myself that i really never heard a hard rock song where someone actually put his name "Jesus Christ" in the song. Usually alot of musicians will just use "He" and "You" as well other reference words. So i went home and rented a copy of the movie "The Passion of the Christ" and after watching it and feeling the sadness of the movie, i felt it was my duty to hit the studio once again and set out to do what i have never heard, and that's put the name of "Jesus Christ" in a Hard Rock song. And so by sunset the next day, "Jesus Christ-One God" was born.
