Story behind the song
Part of my project titled "Tangents." It is a Dark Cinematic Electronic project that bridges the gap between 1980s nostalgia and modern tension. The direction is defined by a "beautifully untamed" and unsettling sound palette, achieved by using vintage analog hardware from the 70s and 80smost notably my Akai AX60, which I have owned since I was 17. Unlike polished software emulations, this hardware provides a raw, industrial edge and FM-style filter modulations. I am "gluing" the concept together through recurring melodic motifs and specific key signature relationships to ensure a cohesive, narrative flow.
